External Initiatives

Since December 2021, ANIMA has joined the United Nations Global Compact, the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world which aims to mobilize a global movement of companies and stakeholders through the promotion of Ten Principles on human and workers' rights, the protection of the environment and the fight against corruption and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 
 

The Group’s operating companies support the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and commit to integrate them into their ESG Policies and investment processes. For further details, please refer to the "Responsible Investment" section.

 
 

Since February 2023, Anima SGR is an ordinary member of the Forum per la Finanza Sostenibile (Italian Sustainable Investment Forum), a non-profit association that promotes the knowledge and practice of sustainable and responsible investment in Italy, with the aim of encouraging the inclusion of environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria in financial products and processes.



Since February 2023, Anima SGR is a member of the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change the European membership body for investor collaboration on climate change. Their mission is to support and enable the investment community in driving significant and real progress by 2030 towards a net zero and resilient future.



Since 2023, Anima SGR has joined the FAIRR (Farm Animal Investment Risk & Return) Initiative a collaborative investor network that raises awareness of the environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities linked to intensive livestock production and seeks to minimise the risks within the global food sector.



Since 2023, Anima SGR is a member of the Investor Alliance for Human Rights by ICCR (Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility), a non-profit initiative focusing on the investors responsibility to respect human rights, corporate engagements that drive responsible business conduct, and standard-setting activities that push for robust business and human rights policies.



Since 2024, Anima SGR has joined Valore D the first association of companies in Italy which is committed to promoting gender equality and inclusive culture through participation, collaboration and dialogue between member companies. The association’s activities are aimed at overcoming the gender gap and developing inclusive, non-discriminatory workplaces.
